Y’all, I’m on the Theory pants bandwagon (pantswagon?) officially. These pants are amazing! I got two pair (this gray pair and a navy pair) at a steep discount from the Nordstrom semi-annual sale, and I haven’t worn more flattering pants in my entire life. N.B. though, that they come with a 34″ (!!!) inseam. I definitely had to have these suckers taken up. They fit my waist, hips, and tush as though they were custom-made for me, though, so I can handle a little hemming.

The top’s a tricky one as a petite lady, because it’s a bit challenging to wear a Peter Pan collar without looking childlike. The long gold-and-jade necklace offsets that, as does tucking the collar underneath the sweater (as opposed to letting it lie on top). These shoes are a big win, given that I’ve been eyeing them for ages and found them at approximately 50% off this weekend. I love the French style bow. Hashtag: #yougotta
