Blouse: Stitch Fix | Pants: Loft [currently in spring colors] | Shoes: Jessica Simpson | Necklace: Francesca’s [similar]
Ta-da! This is one of the winning shirts I kept from my inaugural Stitch Fix. The up side to Stitch Fix? I wouldn’t have looked at this shirt if I was just at the mall shopping. I would’ve immediately thought it wouldn’t fit or the chest pockets would fall funny. Having someone hand pick it and force you to give it a try, allows me to go outside of my comfort zone without consequence of harsh dressing room lighting.
The one con to selfies, is that you can’t fully see some of the cool details – the scalloped sleeves, the quaint shoulder epaulettes, or the neckline detail. This was a sure fire winner as soon as I put it on. I don’t own anything like it. This shirt lends itself to business casual as well as weekend chic – I mean can’t you see this just rocking a front-half tuck?! The best thing about this shirt is that it fits mah guns! When #TeamPCA considers our curves, we’re talking about all of the curves – arms, chest, waist, etc. – not just the junk in the trunk. It’s nice to find a blouse that let’s your arms breathe and it not be a t-shirt or a knit.
Paired with a fun statement necklace and some ox blood pants, I feel younger than springtime. No really, after all the winter weather of late, it was nice to walk out into a spring like 65 degrees without being layered and bundled.
