Sweater: [similar] | Pants: The Limited | Shoes: Nine West

One of my new year’s resolutions was to shop my closet and to find value from new to me clothes. Today’s #outfitselfie is that resolution at play.  I recently went shopping in my sister’s closet, as little sisters are known to do, and came out with some great pieces that flowed nicely with things I already owned.  This entire outfit, minus accessories and the boatneck under the sweater is a new to me find.

 

While I’m not great at thrifting or eBay shopping, I’m really good at clothing swaps. Now that my sister and I are older and don’t live in the same house, it’s easier to swap without a yelling match of “That’s mine!” Plus it helps that my sister is just adorably stylish – so chic with the top knot!

 

 

 

Along with following through on some resolutions, we’re now in Day 5 of “Got to Give it Up!” Today was hard to resist because it’s rainy and I woke up late, which is normally prime time to snatch the ‘do back. Bus instead I went to this quick updo from The Beauty Department. By just pinning and twisting, this easy look provides all the comfort of a ponytail with a little more style. I can see that I’ll be adding this quick easy style to the hairdo repertoire.
