I recently was elected to the board of the local PR association and on Monday we had our board meeting/holiday party after work. Normally holiday party means a lot of sparkle and glam, at least for me.  Since this was after work and I knew I wouldn’t have time to go home and glam it up, I had to find something that was office appropriate  but still festive.

I decided I wanted to use a holiday centric color, hence the green, but I wanted to make sure that it wasn’t elf like.  Being short, rocking green, red and white near the holidays can make you look like you work for Santa instead of your actual employer. I chose to punch it up with silver jewelry and other black accessories.  Since it was cold, I rocked tights.

The key to this outfit is to keep it simple in color palette and use the accessories for your sparkle and glam.
